What you'll practise

  2. Share of the team total
  3. Hit the target?
  4. Rank the reps
  5. How many hit target?

Growth on last month

In cell F2, work out Ana's percentage growth from last month (B2) to this month (C2).

Share of the team total

In cell F2, work out Ana's share of this month's team total: C2 divided by SUM($C$2:$C$5).

Hit the target?

In cell F2, show "Hit" if Ben's sales this month (C3) reached his target (D3), otherwise "Missed".

Rank the reps

In cell F2, rank Cal's sales this month (C4) among C2:C5, highest first.

How many hit target?

In arithmetic, Excel counts TRUE as 1 and FALSE as 0, so adding up comparisons counts how many are true.

In cell F2, count the reps who reached their target: (C2>=D2)+(C3>=D3)+(C4>=D4)+(C5>=D5).

Try it in a real spreadsheet

Every step checks your answer instantly and tells you exactly what to fix.
